Just because you want to enjoy the summer months doesn’t mean your child has to stop learning during the summer. Students interested in growth and maintaining their learning through the year, as well as those looking for other options, are the perfect candidates for opportunities through our school district, our local library, through apps such as Freckle, or video games with educational programs like Minecraft for Education.
Summer break can still be fun, but it doesn't have to be a vacation from learning.

Summer begins today

Congratulations to all of our 4th marking period Honor Roll students, many of whom were on this list all year!! Great way to finish out the school year!! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10Xn6tTuwrz4tXA8HMxWIA8uMDe3KBvBabTkEHzf-TGs/edit?usp=sharing

And a new scoreboard too!

Ever wonder what goes on at the middle school all summer? Well..it's a time to clean, paint, repair, renovate and renew. In these pictures you'll see Mr. Earle and Mr. Grossmeyer cleaning carpets. You'll also see in-process painting, the mid-process transformation of rooms 10 & 11 (former computer labs) to new math labs, the updating of the woodshop room to our new STEAM room (yes, there will still be a project or two with wood (to utilize design, art, engineering and construction skills), and pics of the ladders, cleaning and painting materials used and pics of the gym and cafeteria walls. If you remember the yellow glazed tiles in the gym, you'll notice those tiles are now the same color as the upper portions of the gym walls. Gym floor is sanded and will get a new cost of finish. Same painting ideals for the cafeteria walls, which once were mismatched following previous bond issue updates creating a mish-mash of glazed tiles colors. Working toward a brighter, nicer, more up to date place to learn!
