Parent-Teacher conferences are coming up on November 14. Here are some ideas, for today and the coming days, for how to make these valuable for you and your child.
10 Tips to Make the Most of Your Parent-Teacher Conference:
1) Before the Conference: Look over schoolwork.
Take some time to look over your child’s homework, essays, reading logs, and other schoolwork. How does it look like your child is doing? Is the homework too easy or too hard? Does your child need help?
Review report cards, too. What are your child’s grades like? You can also look over any emails or newsletter updates the teacher has sent.
Congratulations to this week's PAWS winners: Alexandrea Cater, Andrea Chad, Dallas Dearman, Louis Englehart, Jayden Jones, Bryce Rundell, Thomas Williams (not pictured), and Montana Scherzer (not pictured).

Varsity Football Playoff- Come out and support our Huskies 1st round playoff game against Morley-Stanwood tomorrow night starting @ 7:00. Passes are not excepted for playoff games. Tickets can be pre-purchased at the high school office today and tomorrow from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate. Admission is $6.00.

For one night only!! Come on out to Twin Bridges Golf Course for the Trail of Terrors, presented by the HMS PTO! Wear your costume and walk the trails---if you dare!!

Attention all ghosts, goblins and scarers! The middle school PTO is sponsoring a very scary Trail of Terrors Friday night at Twin Bridges Golf Course. We are in need of some more ghouls and goblins to help us make this a fun night. So..if you are available to help, whether you need additional service hours or because you just wanna have some fun, send your name in a text to 482-3429 to volunteer and get more info. Have a great Halloween!!
