Teacher Feature 📚 As part of National Teacher Appreciation Week, the Hemlock Board of Education, at their regular meeting, honored a teacher from each school building. We are thrilled to announce that High School Math Teacher Keith Krueger has been honored as the standout educator from the High School building.

🖼️ Join us in celebrating the many talents of the young artists in the Hemlock Community this evening for Love Of The Arts Night. 🎨 The Fine Art Gallery will be open from 5:00 - 7:00pm, while the Performance Arts portion of the evening will take place from 7:00 - 9:00pm. 🎭 Tickets will be available at the door for $10 | Cash only.
🚗 Please note that parking with shuttle pick-up will be available in the following locations: soccer fields, K.C. Ling Elementary (near the new gym), the Middle School, Elementary/ECC, and the south parking lot of the Richland Township Park. The bus will run continuously between 4:00 and 8:00 pm.

This week's #StaffSpotlight is on the effervescent Elizabeth Henninger, one of our fabulous food service heroes who has worked here at Hemlock Public School District for over 20 years.
We'd love you to get to know her a little better, so here are some fun nuggets of information about her:
• She has donated over 106" of her hair to 'Children with Hair Loss' over the past 13 years.
• Her favorite part of her job is interacting with all our students, while her least favorite part part is trying to remember all their names.
• She enjoys writing poetry, and has even written poems for friends navigating life-changing events to help them as they process their struggles.
• What could she listen to on repeat? Anything by the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
• A quote she lives her life by is: “If He knows. isn't that all that matters?"

This week, our freshmen and sophomores had a firsthand encounter with the importance of safe driving thanks to UNITE's Arrive Alive Tour 🚗 Officer Randy shared vital insights about the risks of impaired driving before they hit the "virtual road." Through cutting-edge simulators and impactful videos, students experienced the realities of drunk, distracted, and drugged driving.
Because "Good Decisions Prevent Collisions," we're committed to empowering our Huskies to prioritize safety every time they're behind the wheel.
