📚 Mrs. Sensabaugh visited Ms. Schantz’s kindergarten class to read Stick and Stone — a heartwarming story about friendship. Our kindergartners learned the importance of sticking up for one another and being a good friend. ✨
Hemlock Huskie History Fact 🕰️ Did you know Hemlock Public School District is older than Scotch Tape? Invented in 1930 by 3M engineer Richard G. Drew, this sticky staple didn’t exist when Hemlock opened its doors in 1863.
We enjoy hands on learning opportunities, using manipulatives and preferred tasks, to help students in Mrs. Wilson's classroom get a deeper understanding of equal groups, and sharing equally when tackling multiplication and division. Ms. Lisa is always a big help in supporting Mrs. Wilson and the students each day. We L🫶🏻VE trying new and challenging things in our classroom.

🧠 Juniors Laini Wardin and Ryleigh Bain, Medical Careers students at the Saginaw Career Complex, got creative while exploring how parts of the body function.
Using their knowledge of cell organelles, they came up with clever everyday comparisons — like the “Lunch Lady,” representing the endoplasmic reticulum because both package and deliver (in this case, snacks and proteins).
We love seeing our Huskies bring learning to life in such imaginative ways.
🥍 Dylan Smith and Tanner Holmes went stick-to-stick in a lacrosse faceoff during gym class. Nothing like a little competition to keep our Huskies sharp. 💪
We know that #HemlockHuskies do amazing things, both personally and professionally, and we want to hear all about it. 🎓
Whether you've landed your dream job, started your own business, or made a difference in your community in a unique way, we want to celebrate your accomplishments and share your story with our community.
If you're a Hemlock graduate and would like to submit your story for a chance to be featured in our Alumni Spotlight, please fill out the form linked below. 📄 https://forms.gle/By4KqezakucTWrvc8

Progress doesn’t happen without participation. Every day a student shows up, they move forward. Remind them, "Every time you walk in, you’re growing." See you in class.

🌟 Congratulations to our Kindergarten Student of the Month, Mackenzie Dalton.
Mackenzie sets a wonderful example for the entire elementary school. She is responsible, kind to everyone, and always treats others with respect. Her positive attitude and excellent behavior brighten our halls each and every day.
Ms. Bouchard’s first graders had an exciting visit to the STEM Center. 🔬✨ From exploring to discovering, these young Huskies are already thinking like scientists and engineers. 🐾💡

Today we celebrate Custodian Appreciation Day 🧹✨ A huge THANK YOU to our incredible custodial team who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our schools safe, clean, and welcoming. From early mornings to late nights, they go above and beyond to make sure our Huskies have the best learning environment possible.
Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration ✨ Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the Grand Opening of Wallace Field and Krueger Track on Friday, October 3rd, 2025—just before the big game.
📍 Ribbon Cutting: 6:00 PM 🏈 Kickoff: 7:00 PM
Come early, be part of history, and help us cheer on the Huskies under the Friday night lights. Don’t miss this milestone moment for our school and community.
It’s #ThrowbackThursday and today we’re headed to Prom ’95—familiar faces, classic smiles, and Huskie memories that still connect generations. Recognize someone? Tag them (or their recent grad) and share a favorite memory.
When you walk our halls, you’ll see more than walls and books—you’ll see investments made with care. Every resource, every dollar, every effort is poured into what matters most: helping our Huskies thrive.
At our October Board of Education meeting, we proudly recognized community partners and leaders who keep Hemlock safe and strong. • Chief Jeremy Scott and the Richland Township Fire Department — honored for their quick response and outstanding support during a recent medical emergency. Thank you. Awesome job. We appreciate you. • School Resource Officer Randy Schroeder — honored for daily work to keep students and staff safe: patrolling our grounds and buildings, visiting lunchrooms, giving classroom presentations, making home visits, and more. • Our four building principals — Principal Sensabaugh, Principal Snider, Principal Gensch, and Principal Green — honored in celebration of National Principals Month. #DifferenceMakers Thank you for all you do.
