Ian isn’t just a marketing whiz—he’s a problem solver, a trail explorer, the mastermind behind our Huskie swag catalog, and a soon-to-be husband. As a senior at SVSU with a 4.0 GPA, Ian thrives on creativity, strategy, and helping others—whether it’s helping you find the perfect running shoe at Runners Athletic Co., mentoring freshmen through His House ministries, or hitting the trails on foot or bike.
He’s all about exploring, creating, and serving, and we’re excited to have him bring that energy to #HemlockHuskies. Drop a 👋 to welcome Ian to the Huskie Pack and wish him congrats on his upcoming wedding and graduation.

Today at the State Robotics Competition, Hemlock’s Gray Matter Team #5712 was honored with the Team Sustainability Award, sponsored by Dow.
This award recognizes teams that demonstrate sustainable practices with a lasting impact—and Gray Matter has gone above and beyond. From creating shadowing opportunities for new members to maintaining a strong pipeline of students through their robust FIRST program, they’re ensuring their knowledge and legacy live on.
They’ve opened their facility to support other teams, partnered with the local water department, and even recycle batteries—showing what it truly means to lead by example.

What a day on the HSC Field at the FIRST Robotics State Finals!
Our team started the day ranked 19th but didn’t let that stop them—they dug deep, worked together, and climbed all the way up to finish 3rd overall! Their grit, teamwork, and determination paid off, earning them a spot as Alliance 2 heading into the finals.
We are incredibly proud of these students, mentors, and supporters who continue to show what Huskie pride, persistence, and innovation look like.

#FeelGoodFriday | Finding Home at Hemlock 🌟
Through all the busyness of our day-to-day lives, it’s easy to forget just how much impact a teacher can have. They help students feel safe, heard, and valued, guiding them to a love of learning, fostering friendships, and creating a true sense of belonging.
For Wyatt and his family, that impact came through Mrs. Kaczmarczyk at K.C. Ling Elementary. Wyatt joined the Hemlock Huskies in late January, and in just a short time, he has flourished in her classroom. As he puts it, "Mrs. K is the sweetest, most kindest teacher I have ever known."
