It is with honor to announce Alyssa Rivette as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Alyssa is the daughter of Tony and Jamie Rivette. After graduation she plans to attend GVSU Honors College or the University of Michigan to major in Chemical Engineering. Alyssa has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years, senior class president and a Saginaw County Youth Ambassador. She has been on varsity pompon for 4 years and won the state championship twice. Alyssa has been on the Mid-American Pompon All Star Team for 4 years and was the recipient of the Mid-American Pompon scholarship. Congratulations Alyssa!
Hemlock High School's Student Council and Peer-to-Peer Program present our 1st Valentine's Day Carnation Fundraiser. Parents can purchase flowers for their students to be given on Valentine's Day at school. To make a purchase please send an email to Mrs. Bell at bell@hemlockps.com with the student's name you are sending the flowers to, the quantity needed, and any saying you would like for a card. Parents will need to pay for flowers via cash or check to the office. Students can purchase flowers during both lunches on Valentine's Day. Thank you for your support!

It is with honor to announce Emily Garcia as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Emily is the daughter of Brooke and Joel Wirtz and Ruben Garcia. After graduation she is undecided on what college she will attend and plans to major in medicine. Emily has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years. She is also a member of HHS's book club and she is a CO-OP at Hemlock Semiconductor. Congratulations Emily!

It is with honor to announce Lauren Borsenik as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Lauren is the daughter of Monica and Benjamin Borsenik. After graduation she will attend Concordia University where she received a scholarship to play collegiate basketball and will major in Sonography. Lauren has earned BCAM's All State Honorable Mention award and All Conference every year for basketball and softball. She won the Girls Basketball state championship title in 2023 while maintaining above a 4.0 GPA all of high school. Congratulations Lauren!

It is with honor to announce Tyler Vasher as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Tyler is the son of Daniel and Colleen Vasher. After graduation he plans to attend Michigan Tech University or Western Michigan University to major in Forestry or Engineering. Tyler has been a member of the theater program for 8 years and is section leader in band. He has won the Tri-Valley Sportsmanship Award for tennis and the Tri-Valley Soccer Honorable Mention. Tyler was a representative for the Optimist Club and Michigan Tech Leading Scholars Finalist. Congratulations Tyler!

It is with honor to announce Mallory Dinninger as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Mallory is the daughter of Timothy and Christine Dinninger. After graduation she plans to finish her third year of Early Middle College then transfer to Michigan State University or University of Michigan to major in animal science or nursing. Mallory has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years and won district champs for soccer in 2023. Congratulations Mallory!

It is with honor to announce Hannah Borsenik as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Hannah is the daughter of Monica and Ben Borsenik. After graduation she plans to attend Saginaw Valley State University to major in Special Education. Hannah is captain of Hemlock's 2023 State Champion Girls Varsity basketball team. She won first team all conference for varsity softball and basketball. She has also won the individual academic all state volleyball award and the dream team honorable mention for basketball in 2023. Congratulations Hannah!
