March Madness begins tonight! Hemlock is hosting the girls district basketball. Ithaca will be facing off against Merrill at 5:30pm and Valley Lutheran against St. Louis at 7pm. The winners of those match ups move on to Wednesday to play St. Charles at 5:30pm and Hemlock at 7pm. The district final will be this Friday at 7pm. 1) If you wear a jersey number, do you have a special reason that you wear that number?
No, not really… It’s the jersey my coach gave me, so I wore it.
2) What are some of your other hobbies?
Football, Track, Soccer, and video games (specifically Call of Duty). I have a dog and two cats.
3)What is your favorite movie?
The Mask - I am a huge Jim Carey fan and it is hilarious.
4) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan - It looks like the culture is cool and very different from what I am used to here in the US.
5) Favorite college/pro team?
Lions - One of these years will finally be “Our Year”!
6) Favorite teacher or staff member & why?
Mrs. Fritz because she makes learning fun and offers us really cool labs that we complete in class.
7) Favorite school subject?
Art - Because it allows me to be creative and have a way to express my emotions.
8) Favorite family recipe?
Special Ramen Noodle Dish - Ramen Noodles mixed with ground beef and a frozen bag of vegetables with ginger and other spices. It’s delicious!

11) What is your dream job?
A job that that doesn’t involve interaction with many others. I am an independent thinker who works best alone.
12) Do you think playing sports at Hemlock has made a difference in your life?
The have allowed me to stay healthy and in shape. They have taught me many life lessons.
13) Favorite sport memory
Tied soccer game, shootout… everyone has gone on both teams and I’m last up to shoot. I score the game winning goal and I will never forget that moment.
Varsity Girls & Varsity Boys Basketball games will be played tonight (2/25) in Millington. Girls game begins at 6pm followed by the boys at 7:30pm. Good luck Huskies!

The Hemlock Youth Basketball 5/6 grades teams of orange and light blue battled it out on Saturday. Both teams played hard and gave it their all but light blue came out on top for the win. Great job huskies!
