Tryouts will be held August 11–13 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the Hemlock soccer field.
A current physical must be on file to participate.

High School XC kicks off August 11 with practice at 3:30 PM at the HS soccer field (start of the XC course). Middle School athletes are welcome to join voluntarily before school starts. Once school begins, practice is expected for all XC athletes.

If you’re interested in running cross country, contact Coach Coblentz for details about the season and XC Camp, which runs August 17–19 and is a great way to kick things off.

Alumni Spotlight
Nolan Finkbeiner, a 2021 Hemlock graduate, was an All-Sport Award honoree and multi-sport standout during his time as a Huskie. He made a lasting impact on the court, becoming a 1,000-point scorer for Hemlock Basketball.
Nolan continued his journey at The University of Olivet, where he recently wrapped up an outstanding collegiate basketball career while earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He’s now taking the next step toward his future as a student at the Kentucky College of Optometry. Nolan remains a mentor of the game, sharing his love of basketball by training and guiding young players in their own development.

Jake Shelagowski, a 2022 Hemlock graduate, was an All-Sport Award honoree and multi-sport standout during his time as a Huskie. He continued his baseball journey at Saginaw Valley State University, where he had a breakout season this past year, topping 100 MPH on the mound. Jake was recently drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals, and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
