Hemlock Powerlifters had a great day at Clio High School this past Saturday.
Our Top finishers were:
Serenity Wenzel taking 3rd in her class.
Haleigh Andrew taking 2nd in her class.
Emma Jaremba taking 1st in her class.
Gabe Messing taking 1st in his class.
Emma, Haleigh, and Gabe all qualified for the state championship meet!
Coach Zolinski would like to thank seniors: Kassie Hensler, Clara Dallas, and Alyssa Stiverson for helping grow the sport over the past 4 years and being great role models for all of our team. You will be missed!

We are pleased to announce that Ashley McKibbin has joined Hemlock High School as the head JV softball coach. A 1999 graduate of Hemlock High School where she was a dual sport athlete, playing both basketball and softball. McKibbin graduated from Lake Superior State University with an elementary teaching degree and is currently teaching 3rd grade at Merrill Elementary, McKibbin brings a wealth of coaching experience at both middle and high school levels. Her commitment to developing strong relationships with players and focusing on fundamental skills will greatly benefit our program. Athletic Director Angela Pohl states, "She is excited to give back to the program that she loves so much."
