The Hemlock Board of Education is excited to embark on a new phase, with numerous projects currently underway and many more planned for the future. The district is in the final stages of completing phase one, with the exception of the K.C. Ling Gymnasium. Construction for the gymnasium is scheduled to start later this month and will continue throughout the fall and winter until its completion. #PULLTHESLED

We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the Michigan School Meals Program, EVERY child at Hemlock Public School District, pre-K through 12th grade, will now be able to enjoy a delicious and nutritious breakfast and lunch for FREE!
Not only will this amazing program lighten the load on your wallet (we all know kids can eat their way through a pantry), but it'll save you precious time in the morning.
Now, here's the nitty-gritty: Although the meals are free, we do need all our parents to fill out the new free/reduced lunch application. This data is super important as it helps secure state and federal funding for this fantastic initiative.

As summer break draws to a close, Hazel the travelin' huskie pup is making her way home from Lomolo, Kenya with our sweet social worker. They've had lots of adventures together and have loved teaching social emotional tools to the students there.
🐾 Miss Rebekah said the top-right photo is of the kids and Hazel, but they were so excited to meet her that she got lost in their huddle of delight.
