Creativity in action 📦✨ Mrs. Lockwood's Multimedia class took an ordinary cardboard box and turned it into a masterpiece. Using Canva, students layered photographs they'd taken in the box to create a stacked box effect, combining hands-on creativity and digital design skills. 💻🎨 Way to think outside the box, Huskies. #HemlockHuskies #Huskietastic

🎓 Alumni Spotlight | Clinton Walny, Class of 2010 Clinton Walny, a proud member of the Class of 2010, was actively involved in football, co-op, and bowling during his time at Hemlock. He valued the opportunity to explore courses beyond the traditional curriculum, which helped shape his path toward a meaningful career. After graduating, Clinton pursued extensive training during his service in the U.S. Army and recently earned a degree in cybersecurity from the College of Southern Maryland. While military life brought unique challenges, the teamwork and perseverance he learned on Hemlock’s football field have guided him through 14 years as an intelligence professional. Keith Green left a lasting impact on Clinton by offering him an athletic assistant role during his senior year, fostering the work ethic that remains central to his success. Reflecting on his time at Hemlock, Clinton fondly recalls playing football and helping coach his younger brothers’ youth teams. Today, Clinton serves as a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst for the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., where he identifies and investigates cyber threats, analyzes vulnerabilities, and helps safeguard national infrastructure. His global journey has taken him to places like Germany, Greece, Israel, and France, serving his country with dedication and skill. His advice to current Huskies: “Not all paths to success are straightforward. Never let anyone undervalue your effort. Surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed.” Clinton’s journey from Hemlock High School to a pivotal role in national cybersecurity showcases the enduring impact of teamwork, determination, and the value of embracing diverse opportunities. #HemlockHuskies #AlumniSpotlight #LifeReadyHPSD

Our upper-level art classes had an inspiring day on Friday. 🎨✨ First, they visited Swanhaven Manor to spread joy by decorating windows for the residents. Next, they stopped by the stunning new Shine Bright Mural in Saginaw for a little creative inspiration. Finally, the day wrapped up with a tour of the SVSU art department and the Marshall Fredericks Sculpture Gallery. 🖌️ What a fantastic way to learn, create, and give back! #HemlockHuskies #Huskietastic #Since1863
