Mandatory- Washington D.C. pre-trip meeting on Thursday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. in the middle school cafeteria.
All students who are planning to go on the 2018 Washington D.C. trip must attend this meeting along with a parent/guardian.
If you are chaperoning the trip, please also plan to meet at 5:00 in room 2 (Mrs. Pedelty’s room) for a chaperone only meeting.

Sunshine Seniors from St. Peters Lutheran Church stopped by to visit Hemlock's Gray Matter. They learned about encoders, potentiometers, pneumatics, computer coding and drove 5712's competition robot. Hemlock's Gray Matter provides educational opportunities - regardless of age.

Hemlock's Gray Matter brings home the Imagery Award from their competition at Kettering University for the second consecutive year. This award celebrates attractiveness in engineering and outstanding visual aesthetic integration of machine and team appearance.



Hemlock's Gray Matter competed against some of the best robotics teams in the world, finishing in 3rd place out of 40 teams at Kettering University. One highlight was finishing ahead of the defending world champions. Gray Matter provides advanced educational opporunities.
