Comfort food at its finest. 🍗🧀🍦 Our culinary students have been busy in the kitchen, whipping up warm, delicious dishes like chicken pot pie, mac & cheese, and even homemade ice cream. The classroom smelled amazing as these Huskies cooked up skills they’ll use for a lifetime.👩‍🍳 Bon appétit, future chefs! #HemlockHuskies #Huskietastic #LifeReadyHPSD #FutureChefs

Shoutout to our Industrial Arts students who assembled these awesome bikes and scooters for our preschoolers at the Early Childhood Center. 🚲🛴 After putting them together, they took them for a spin through the high school halls before delivering them, with Principal Snider and Superintendent Killingbeck, to some very excited little Huskies over at our Hemlock Early Childhood Center.🐾 The magic of cross-generational connection was truly on display as these young men shared their time and talent with the next generation of Huskies. Thank you for helping spread joy and fostering community. #HemlockHuskies #Huskietastic #BringTheMagic #Since1863

Get ready for March is Reading Month 📚 Superintendent Killingbeck had a wonderful time in Mrs. Langworthy's classroom, sharing a heartwarming children's book he co-wrote with Nurse Becky about a family of four ducks they raised. This story beautifully captures themes of resilience, teamwork, and community. What an amazing group of students and ducks! #HemlockHuskies #ReadersAreLeaders #ReadingMonth

From Classmates to Lifelong Partners 🥂 Brian & Tammie Pacholke As we wrap up our second annual School Sweethearts series, we’re delighted to share the story of Brian and Tammie (Lloyd) Pacholke—a love that started in the halls of Hemlock and has grown stronger with time. Brian and Tammie first met in eighth grade when Brian moved to Hemlock from Carrollton, but it wasn’t until their senior year that their friendship truly blossomed. With shared classes in the afternoon, Brian took a playful approach to getting Tammie’s attention—stealing her purse in Physics class. She played it cool, and he backed off, but the spark had already been lit. Their senior trip to Cedar Point stirred up rumors that Tammie might be interested, and on graduation day in June 1981, Brian finally asked her out. The rest, as they say, is history. After two years of dating, Brian and Tammie tied the knot in September of 1983. They have built a beautiful life together, raising two adult children and cherishing their five grandchildren. For the past 28 years, they’ve been lovingly restoring the old Hemlock Cedarburg Funeral Home, blending their passion for history with the place they’ve always called home. From teenage friends to lifelong partners, Brian and Tammie’s journey is a true testament to love, laughter, and a little bit of persistence. #OnceAHuskieAlwaysAHuskie #HemlockHuskies #SchoolSweethearts

Healthy snacks make happy Huskies. 🥕🍎 Carrie Nelson, our Health Resource Advocate, gave a fantastic presentation to Mrs. Hammond’s 3rd-grade class about making smart snack choices. The kids loved it! Plus, Food Service Director Jeremiah Allen prepared crunchy edamame beans for them to take home, and Carrie even made little recipe cards. Learning about nutrition has never been so fun. #HemlockHuskies #HealthyHuskies #Huskietastic #HemlockStrong

Learning from the Pros 🌪️ Hemlock High School students in Mr. Slate’s Astronomy class had the privilege of hearing from WNEM Meteorologist Chris Easlick today. Superintendent Killingbeck kicked things off with a few words on snow days and weather impacts before Chris took the stage to explain the science behind forecasting. We are grateful to Chris for making our students a priority and appreciate both his time and the entire team at WNEM for their dedication to education and community engagement. #HemlockHuskies #STEMEducation #FutureForecasters #LearningBeyondTheClassroom #WNEM

Mrs. Klopf’s kindergarten class is making a difference—one balloon and one smile at a time. 🎈For the 4th year, these young Huskies adopted grandparents at Stone Crest Assisted Living, delivering balloon bouquets with the help of Party Pals Balloonery. They sang, danced, crafted, and even learned Spanish from a resident just a week shy of 100. Moments like these show the power of kindness across generations. #HemlockHuskies #KindnessInAction #Huskietastic #Since1863
