Kristen Opperman and Raquel Ledesma from Hemlock Semiconductor stopped by the Lockwood STEM Center for a visit Tuesday afternoon. HSC is a partner with Hemlock Public School District in promoting STEM education and high tech employment opportunities across the region.

Up 15-6 at the end of the first quarter against the St. Charles Bulldogs.


Emily Schmidt has been awarded a $1,500 grant to purchase 6 robots and other resources for her classroom. Schmidt says, "Our students have been able to use a few of these robots over the last four years to help develop their coding logic and problem-solving skills. This grant will help us reach more students and inspire them to further explore STEAM subjects."
