Thought for the day...

Looks what's coming...

Thank you to Sarah Donoghue (class of 2017) and a talented group of HMS artists for adding some character and inspiration to our B Wing girls' bathroom stall doors. Sarah is a student at Delta College and devised a Community Service project to beautify the B Wing girls' bathroom and inspire users at the same time. HMS artists included: Brianna Weaver, Eden Dehring, Gabi House, Haley Scherzer, Katie Salo, Laci Lee, Madison Fitch, and Nevaeh Pauls with an assist from Hannah VanConnet (class of 2017)

What's coming up?

First game in Midland league and first win for our 5th grade girls basketball team. 24-2. Great job Huskies!

Congratulations to our PAWS Award winners for this week and the month of October : (L-R) Billy Wenzel, Luke Funka, Aiden Kulhanek, Kasey Walker, Hunter Emmendorfer, Jordan Stiverson, and Tim Hegenauer.

Just a taste of some of the Halloween door decorations we had this year. This one is the contest winner! Look closely at the sign on the door -- it's a woodshop safety message.

Mrs. Kato is raising money for materials for our STEAM classrooms using DonorsChoose. Please consider supporting this.

I want to make sure my students have the materials and experiences they need to succeed, so I just created a request for my classroom at DonorsChoose.org: Electrifying STEAM class: https://www.donorschoose.org/project/electrifying-steam-class/3729571/
Give to my classroom by November 2 and your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose.org. Just enter the code LIFTOFF on the payment page and you'll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $50).
If you chip in to help my students, you'll get awesome photos and our heartfelt thanks.
Thanks so much,
Janice
P.S. If you know anyone who may want to help my classroom, please pass this along!

MS Wrestling- practice will begin October 25th 3-5pm. Physical must be on file to practice.
