Our 8th grade girls basketball team finished the season as strong as they started. Last night the girls defeated Alma 50 - 20. They finish the year with an outstanding record of 11-1. As a coach I could have never asked more of these 9 girls. I am so proud of each and every one of the girls. They were amazing all year, giving their best in every practice and every game. They are dedicated and love the game....and it showed whenever they took the court. I want to thank my girls for a wonderful season. But most important thank you for showing the true meaning of "team." I will miss watching our dominate the court, but most important I will miss what we have been, "TOGETHER." - Love - Coach Olinger. Their stats for last night rocked the court. Reagan Finkbeiner "Rags, " scored 15 points and had 9 steals. Breanna Turner, "Cupid," had 10 points and 5 steals. Chloe "Weseasl" Watson ended the season with 8 points and 4 steals. Ella "Pips" Wardlow finished with 7 points and 7 rebounds. Izzy "Zeik" Loucks dominated under the basket with 10 rebounds and 2 points. Alyssa "Smiles" Dearman finished her last game with 4 points. Charli "Charles" Munger put up 2 points as well as Averi "Smalls" Hall. And Morgan "Walle" gave it her all to end the season.
