Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! #thankateacher
Hey! Did you know it's Teacher Appreciation Week? It doesn't take a pandemic to understand how valuable teachers are, but it sure does reinforce the positive contributions they make to students and community every day, in person or online. Take time today to thank a teacher. How? Send them an email, call or text one you know personally, have your child send them an email/Google Classroom communication/text, make a social media post, or whatever else you can do to support teachers.

Thanks to all of our teachers for the awesome job they do each day, and especially in times like these when kids and parents need their guidance and steady presence even more. Join us in saying thanks to all of our teachers--send them an email, make a Facebook post, tell a friend, whatever you can do the let our teachers know how much they are appreciated

Happy Monday! Celebrating birthdays this week are:

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week--and what a year to say "thanks" to our teachers. Switching to remote learning has been a challenge but our teachers have done a tremendous job of making this change so our students can continue learning. It's time to say thank you! Join our PTO in saying "Thanks!" and "Great Job!" to our teachers! Send them an email, reply to this posting on the HMS Facebook page, or use your Child's Google Classroom or Google Meet time to say "thanks" for a job well done.

I have never been one that needed a thank you, but when this sign appeared in my yard it brought tears to my eyes! Thank you Hemlock PTO, Mrs Peitsch, and the Seidel Family

Teacher Appreciation Week is fast approaching and we need your Middle Schooler's help with a special surprise. It's clear that these past few weeks have inspired an increased respect for what teachers do every day! We have set up a place for your child to record a video to a special teacher or teachers, letting them know how/why they have made an impact on them. Click here to submit your video https://flipgrid.com/233eaf7a by Saturday, May 2. Parents may make submissions too. We look forward to seeing what our kids and parents put together to say "Thanks" to our teachers.

Congratulations to Rylee Sullivan on reading 4,000,000 words so far this year! What a great way to spend some time when that school work is done!
