State Spelling Bee - May 1 in Essexville. Lia Hoffmann will represent our region and most importantly Hemlock Middle School.

6th grade students were challenged to create a cellphone holder for hands free video viewing and a device to keep headphone wires from becoming tangled. The class voted for the top designs to be printed.

Food Service will be handing out meals (on demand) on Friday Feb 26, 2021 from 11:00am-2:00 pm at the Middle School door #28. We will still be sending home virtual meals with the students today, just like we have been doing weekly. Lunch menus for March are posted on hemlockps.com under the food service dining area.
6th grade STEAM students are excited to drive robots around the room. A Sphero is a program robotic sphere that can be coded. Exploring robots is the first step to learning to code.

8th grade STEAM students are becoming inventors. They explore how toys are made by taking apart a simple windup toy. Reverse engineering is a powerful way to explore how anything works.



Well, it looks as if Couch Potato Monday was just that! Tomorrow will still be Tourist Tuesday for Spirit Week, hosted by the Student Council.
