Did you know your student can reserve a booth for lunch?! HMS recently adopted LiveSchool as a source for giving positive reinforcement points for students exhibiting good behavior. They are able to "cash in" their rewards for several different items, including reserving a table for themselves and some friends for lunch!

Don't forget tomorrow starts off an extended HMS Christmas Spirit Week! Monday, December 12th will begin the festivities with 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Wear your fancy Christmas PJ's for a cozy start to the week.

"Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way, to say Merry Christmas to you." On Wednesday, December 14th, the Student Council brings you to the island and palm trees mindset with Mele Kalikimaka Wednesday. Wear attire as if you are on a tropical Christmas adventure.

Ugly Christmas sweaters everywhere! On Tuesday, December 13th, show the ugliest sweater you have (make sure it's Christmas) for the spirit day "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

What a fantastic event hosted by the Hemlock Band! A benefit took place tonight for one of our Hemlock families who suffered a house fire. Well done Mr. Bicigo! What a fantastic turnout for a fantastic family. #bettertogether

On Thursday, December 8th, from 5pm-8pm, the Hemlock Bands will be hosting a benefit Taco Dinner. Proceeds will go to the Leitz family, who was recently affected by a house fire. There will be live music performed by The Midland Sax Quartet, 23N, Hemlock community members, and Hemlock students. Minimum donation for dinner is $5, and we will also be filling the Band Trailer with kitchen items and canned/dry foods to help stock their pantry. Please come out and enjoy the music and food with us and support a great cause!

HMS Staff would like to thank our PTO for their endless support. They purchased turkeys so our entire staff could share a Thanksgiving meal together on the day of parent/teacher conferences. Thank you PTO!
