Elementary students had a great day with guest author and illustrator Ruth McNally Barshaw on Wednesday.
Known for her Ellie McDoodle books, Ruth talked about her experience with writing and journaling since childhood, and had students draw right along side her as she taught them how to make pictures out of words.

Just a reminder, the elementary schools will have half days tomorrow 3/9, and Friday 3/10. Hemlock Elementary will be dismissed at 11:02 a.m. and K.C. Ling will be dismissed at 11:09 a.m.

Due to weather conditions, Afterschool Art Club at K.C. Ling has been canceled for this afternoon. There will still be two remaining classes scheduled for March 6th & 13th.

What does my child need to attend the Hemlock Preschool Program? 1. Must be 3 years old by September 1, 2023. 2. Must be fully potty-trained. 3. Must have a current health appraisal form and a copy of immunizations records. The preschool application link will be posted on our website on Monday February 27th @ 8:00am. More details will follow!
