🎈🍁 Thanksgiving Fun with Our Balloon Parade! 🍁🎈
This Thanksgiving, we made history come to life—literally! Inspired by the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, we held our very own Balloon Parade to celebrate the holiday. From learning about the creative minds behind the original parade to crafting and showcasing our own mini floats and balloons, it’s been a season of gratitude, creativity, and teamwork.
Did you know the first Macy’s parade was in 1924 and featured live animals from Central Park Zoo? And those giant balloons we know today? They were introduced in 1927 thanks to a man named Tony Sarg, the puppeteer and inventor behind it all!
Here’s to carrying on traditions, big and small, and creating our own moments of joy.

We loved learning about the incredible work you do to keep our community safe. From answering questions about your roles to showing off the Police Cruisers, reading us stories, and letting us take pictures with your amazing K9 partners, it was such a fun and informative visit!

Our 1st graders are gobbling up creativity this week! Using their imagination and engineering skills, they built these adorable Lego turkeys in STEAM class. 🦃🧱💡
Each turkey is as unique as the young minds behind them, and it’s amazing to see how they bring their ideas to life. What a fun way to celebrate the season while learning and growing together! 🍁
