We’re celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with an “I Love the 90’s” theme, and today we’re giving a huge shoutout to our amazing 1st - 4th grade teachers, our Special Education team, and our incredible gym, music, art, and STEAM teachers! 🎉

Just like the 90’s gave us the best music, movies, and memories, our teachers bring the energy, creativity, and heart that make our school such a special place every single day. From Saved by the Bell vibes to mixtape-worthy moments, they truly are ALL THAT and a bag of chips! 😎

Our 1st graders in Mrs. Kaczmarczyk’s class have had the sweetest hands-on learning experience! They’ve been part of the entire journey, from incubating the eggs, candling them, watching them hatch, and even getting the chance to gently hold the baby chicks. 🐣

What an unforgettable way to learn about life cycles and growth! These little moments are what make learning come to life.

It’s one of our favorite times of the year… the 2nd Grade ABC Countdown to the end of the school year! 🎉 On Friday, our they celebrated the letter C by getting creative and “Chalking the Walk” 🖍️☀️ The sidewalks were filled with colorful designs, kind messages, and lots of smiles!

We can’t wait to see all the fun as they continue counting down the alphabet to the end of the school year! 💙

Our students soaked up every minute of fresh air, sunshine, and laughter out on the playground recently. From games with friends to exploring the equipment and simply enjoying being outside together, recess was full of energy and smiles.

Days like this are a wonderful reminder of how much learning and growing happens beyond the classroom walls. We’re definitely looking forward to more warmer recess days ahead as spring continues to bloom! 🌼

Today we celebrate our very own Mr. Snider for School Principal’s Day! Seeing his elementary school photo next to who he is today is a powerful reminder that every big dream starts right where our students are now - sitting in classrooms, learning, growing, and discovering who they’re meant to be.

Our marquee says it best: “Learning Today. Leading Tomorrow.” And Mr. Snider is living proof of that message every single day. From a young learner to an inspiring leader, he shows our Huskies what’s possible with hard work, heart, and a commitment to others.

There’s just something special about learning new things outside the classroom. Our 2nd graders in Ms. Little’s class spent part of recess today learning how to make daisy chains—and they absolutely loved it! From carefully picking the perfect flowers to helping each other string them together, this was teamwork, creativity, and a little bit of springtime magic all in one 💛 Sometimes the best lessons happen in the simplest moments.

It was a great day at K.C. Ling Elementary as we wrapped up our Acceptance Month dress-up days with Jersey Day!

Jerseys represent being part of a team, and that’s exactly what we are here at Ling. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or throughout our school, we show up for one another, support each other, and work together toward a common goal.

Our students and staff did an amazing job showing their team spirit all month, reminding us all that when we work together, we are stronger. 💪

Recess = GAME ON! Ms. Hollingsworth took things to the next level at recess, challenging our 4th graders to a few rounds of HORSE, and let’s just say, the competition was fierce and the shots were impressive! 🏀 From trick shots to buzzer-beaters (okay… maybe recess bell-beaters 😄), there was no shortage of laughs and school spirit.

Nothing beats seeing our students and staff connecting, having fun, and making memories together!

Mrs. Siler’s 1st graders have been hard at work in art class, creating their own colorful Heart Murals inspired by artist Chris Uphues.
