Hemlock Elementary and K.C. Ling Elementary are excited to welcome The NED Program to their schools on Wednesday, September 17. This special event is part of the schools’ ongoing commitment to fostering positive character development and an enriching school culture.
About The NED Program:
The NED Program is a nationally recognized school-wide character education initiative whose name stands for Never Give Up, Encourage Others, Do Your Best. Its core is a 45‐minute, engaging assembly called The NED Show, designed for students in grades K–6. Following the assembly, teachers and students gain access to lesson plans, videos, and classroom activities that reinforce the three NED traits.
The program aims to:
Improve student behavior
Strengthen academic achievement and test performance
Enrich instructional time
Increase motivation and cultivate a supportive school climate
