The Hemlock Early Childhood Center is excited to begin the 2025-2026 school year by welcoming new team members and celebrating the continued growth of its high-quality preschool programming.

In our preschool program, we are thrilled to welcome Jami Swanson as a new lead teacher. Jami joins the team with an extensive background in education, having served as a kindergarten teacher, special education teacher, and consultant for students with special needs. Her diverse experience and passion for supporting children make her an incredible addition to our program.

“Jami’s knowledge and heart for children will be an immediate benefit to our students and families,” said Assistant Principal Amanda Sensabaugh. “She brings the perfect blend of expertise and compassion that makes her a great fit for our preschool team.”

We are also excited to welcome Sharquice Archibald as our new Lead GSRP Teacher. Sharquice brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program, including prior experience as a director. In addition to her teaching role, she will also serve in a director capacity with us. Sharquice is called to do this work and brings with her a warmth and genuine care for children and families that will strengthen our program and school community.

“Sharquice has a gift for connecting with students and families,” said Principal Cory Snider. “Her leadership, passion, and experience will not only support our students’ growth but will also make a lasting impact on the culture of our Early Childhood Center.”

The Early Childhood Center is also proud to announce that Sarah Bradd has been selected as the new Director of the Early Childhood Program. In addition, she will serve as lead teacher in the Young 3s classroom. Sarah is a familiar face to families, having spent years mentoring teachers and supporting students at the center. Her leadership, dedication, and vision will guide the program into its next chapter.

“Sarah has been a cornerstone of our early childhood program for years,” said Principal Cory Snider. “Her ability to mentor teachers, build strong relationships with families, and ensure the highest standards of care and education make her the ideal leader as we continue to grow and strengthen our program.”

The Hemlock Early Childhood Center remains committed to offering a top-notch program for children and families in the community. The program has earned the distinction of “Demonstrating Quality,” the highest recognition from Great Start to Quality, and looks forward to continuing this tradition of excellence.
