Hemlock Public School District is pleased to announce registration for Young Fives and Kindergarten students for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. Parents can conveniently pre-register their children for our round-up event here. It's worth noting that current Young 5 students do not need to re-register.
Our Y5/Kindergarten Round-Up will take place on March 5th, starting at 6:00 pm at Hemlock Elementary, located at 200 Wilson Street. This exciting event aims to provide an opportunity for prospective students and parents to meet our dedicated staff, complete enrollment documents, and familiarize themselves with the school environment.
Principal Cory Snider said, "We are beyond excited to welcome all our new families to Hemlock Elementary School. The Y5/Kindergarten Round-Up is a fantastic opportunity for us to introduce ourselves, showcase our engaging learning environment, provide information about Young 5s and Kindergarten as well as answer any questions parents may have. We look forward to building a strong partnership with our new families as we take off on this educational journey together."
In order to ensure a smooth enrollment process, parents are asked to submit the following documents to Hemlock Elementary or via email to Jill Crofoot at crofoot.jill@hemlockps.com:
Enrollment Packet (available at round-up or online)
Driver’s License (copy made at school)
Child’s Original Birth Certificate
Proof of Residency: Current utility bill, lease, mortgage, with correct name and address (No voter registration, credit card statements, subscriptions, etc.)
Child’s Updated Immunization Record
Guardianship/Custody Papers (if applicable)
School of Choice paperwork (if applicable)
