2025 Hemlock Varsity Baseball Season Recap
The 2025 Hemlock Varsity Baseball team delivered a season to remember, filled with incredible performances, standout achievements, and unforgettable memories. The Huskies came out of the gate strong, going undefeated through their first eight games and outscoring opponents 66 to 7 during that stretch. They dominated in conference play, finishing undefeated and securing the program's first conference championship in 28 years with an impressive overall record of 23 wins, 9 losses, and 1 tie.
The team’s success was driven by outstanding chemistry, dedication, and a tireless work ethic. Players regularly arrived early and stayed late at practice, committed to putting in extra swings and defensive reps. The leadership of returning upperclassmen—six seniors, one junior, and one sophomore—set the tone for the season and guided new varsity players through the demands of high-level competition.

A heartfelt thank you to the parents and fans for their incredible support throughout the season. Your positivity and willingness to help made a huge difference—and it was amazing to see how well the parents got along, just like the team itself.
Special thanks to the Hemlock Sports Boosters for generously funding our game balls for the season and contributing to the cost of brand-new tarps for the home plate, pitcher’s mound, and bullpens.
We’re also grateful to Jim Urbaniak and Mitchell Pitt for running the scoreboard and microphone all season long—your dedication didn’t go unnoticed!
Finally, thank you to our outstanding assistant coaches: Trevor Schmidt, Erick Radosa, Joe Karpuk, and Greg Gorsline. Your knowledge, experience, and tireless work ethic pushed our players to grow every day.
