Hemlock, MI- Even with high winds and low temperatures, mother nature couldn’t keep up with the Huskies as they battled Freeland in a baseball doubleheader at the Dow Diamond. The Huskies dropped the first game and exploded for 7 runs in the 5th inning to take the nightcap 7-3.

Freshman pitcher Chad Brown captured the win for the Huskies with every member contributing positively to the cause.

Senior Shane Renas said, “It was really cool to be in the big stadium and get a chance to play in that atmosphere in front of all our friends and fans."

Athletic Director Cory Snider added, “What a great experience for our young men and coaches. It was awesome to see them compete on this type of stage. Also, thank you to the Loons staff for their hospitality and hard work.”
