The K.C. Ling and Hemlock Elementary PTO hosted its annual Candy Bar Bingo night last week, and the event was nothing short of a sweet success! Families packed the cafeteria for an evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and—of course—plenty of candy.
Students and families enjoyed multiple rounds of Bingo, with winners taking home king-sized candy bars as prizes. Before the games began, attendees had the option to enjoy dinner together, making it a perfect opportunity for families to connect and unwind after a busy week.
“The turnout was incredible,” said Principal Cory Snider. “Candy Bar Bingo has become a K.C. Ling tradition that brings our Huskie community together in such a fun and positive way. Seeing our students and families smiling, laughing, and just enjoying time together is what makes events like this so special.”
Assistant Principal Amanda Sensabaugh agreed, adding, “It’s always wonderful to see our PTO, staff, and families come together to create these memorable experiences for our students. The excitement in the room was contagious.”
The K.C. Ling and Hemlock Elementary PTO continues to play an important role in organizing family-friendly events that strengthen the school community. Candy Bar Bingo was a perfect reminder that a little sweetness—and a lot of togetherness—go a long way.
