Fifty-four years ago, Hemlock Public School District hosted a small “thank you” Thanksgiving dinner for local senior citizens who helped make Hemlock Middle School possible. That simple act of gratitude has grown into a beloved November tradition—now joined by two Senior Bingo nights and a Spring Brunch—to keep our schools connected with the wise, kind, and amazing seniors who built this community.
This year we’re inviting local businesses, community groups, and friends of Hemlock to help us make these events extra special with prizes and support. Three of our events include prizes (bingo and door prizes), and your generosity turns a fun gathering into a memorable experience.
Great prize ideas: gift cards, restaurant certificates, grocery vouchers, coffee or bakery items, floral arrangements, movie passes, service certificates (haircuts, car wash, lawn care), seasonal baskets, or a simple monetary contribution we’ll convert into prizes.

Note: This is not a gift for the school, or a fundraiser, this is the school giving back to our senior citizens with events, and asking for help to make these amazing people feel even more special.
Thank you for lifting up the people who’ve lifted us for decades.
