As the 2024-25 school year comes to a close, Hemlock Elementary and the Hemlock Early Childhood Center are proud to reflect on a year filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable moments. From the very first day back, themed “Bring the Magic,” to the final days of laughter and celebration, students, staff, and families have worked together to make this school year one to remember.
This year’s focus on creating a positive, engaging learning environment has paid off in powerful ways. Students made significant academic gains, developed social and emotional skills, and participated in countless enriching experiences—from hands-on STEAM projects to school-wide events like Reading Month, Field Day, and leadership assemblies. Teachers and staff continued to prioritize individualized support and strong relationships, ensuring that every child felt seen, heard, and valued.
Hemlock’s youngest learners also had an incredible year at the Early Childhood Center, where play-based learning, creative exploration, and foundational skills laid the groundwork for future success. The Early Childhood Center continues to be a nurturing environment that supports our littlest Huskies in their journey toward kindergarten and beyond.
“Our staff poured their hearts into making this a magical year for our students,” said Principal Cory Snider. “It’s truly special to watch our children grow not only as learners but as kind, confident, and capable individuals. The Huskie spirit is alive and well at Hemlock Elementary School.”
Looking ahead, Hemlock Elementary and the Early Childhood Center are excited to continue building on this year’s momentum. Summer learning opportunities like Camp Huskie will help bridge the gap before students return in the fall, and planning is already underway for a strong start to the 2025-26 school year.
Families are encouraged to stay connected over the summer through the school’s website and social media platforms for updates and back-to-school information.
