Hemlock High School class of 2025 throw their caps at graduation

The Hemlock Public School District celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2025 during its commencement ceremony on May 22, 2025. This year’s graduating class included 91 students who collectively earned more than $1,000,000 in scholarships from colleges, universities, trade schools, the military, and various local, state, and national organizations. It is clear that it pays to graduate from Hemlock Public Schools.

A snapshot of the graduates’ post-high school plans highlights Hemlock’s commitment to preparing students for a variety of pathways:

64% of graduates plan to attend a two or four-year college or university

18% will enter a vocational or technical school

18% will head directly into the workforce or serve in the military

This year, the district is proud to recognize one student who has committed to serve in the armed forces, continuing Hemlock’s tradition of honoring service, dedication, and leadership beyond the classroom.

Superintendent Dr. Don Killingbeck remarked, "This is just one of many reasons that families are choosing Hemlock; excellent academics, excellent co-curricular opportunities, and excellent educators."

High School Principal Keith Green shared his thoughts on the graduating class: "We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025. Their achievements in the classroom, in their communities, and through scholarship awards show their hard work and the support they've received along the way. We look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the world."

The ceremony, held in the Legacy Gymnasium, was filled with celebration as students turned their tassels and threw their caps. Families, faculty, and community members gathered to honor the 2025 class and the vision of a district dedicated to producing future leaders, creators, and innovators.
