Throughout his years of service, Reg Rye wore multiple hats, and each role he embraced was executed with unmatched commitment. From coaching, counseling, and driving a school bus to actively participating in extracurricular events, he invested his time and energy wholeheartedly, forming deep connections with students and community members.
In honor of his profound impact, the Reg Rye Learning Center stands as a living tribute to his legacy. Hosting Hemlock Virtual, this center provides a dynamic learning environment where students can thrive through online, face-to-face, and drop-in support. The classroom, thoughtfully designed to be inviting and inclusive, features an outdoor patio and various seating options, creating a space where learning transcends the traditional confines of a classroom.
Superintendent Killingbeck captured the essence of Reg Rye's character and vision by stating, "His consistent, calming, and passionate leadership helped guide the district through challenging times and helped establish one of the longest-standing business partnerships in the state.
