Hemlock's Gray Matter Parent Night

Students of Hemlock’s Gray Matter robotics team are no strangers to presenting to large audiences and parent night was no exception. Parents visited the Lockwood STEM Center on March 6th to learn about EOS, Hemlock’s Gray Matter 2023 robot. Hemlock High students have been designing, building, wiring, coding, and practicing since January 7th, so they were happy to celebrate the end of build season and put EOS on display and show what it’s capable of.

Alex Haltom, Hemlock’s Gray Matter Drive Team Coach said, “This was a great night to show parents what their children have been working on so diligently over the past few months!”

Parents of Hemlock’s Gray Matter members enjoyed dessert, learned about the
upcoming events, heard from several team members about the build season and robot as well as watched a robot demo. Overall the event was an incredible success and will likely become an annual tradition.
