The Lockwood STEM Center is thrilled to announce it has received a generous grant of $50,000 from the Consumers Energy Foundation. This substantial contribution will directly support the STEM Center expansion, reinforcing our shared commitment to caring for people, enhancing our planet, and furthering Michigan’s prosperity.

This grant is a testament to their ongoing commitment to the communities they serve. “The STEM Labs is an extension of our commitment to providing world class STEM education opportunities to students in our district and surrounding communities,” said Tom Lockwood, Hemlock’s STEM Advocate. “The STEM Labs will house a Computing and Design Lab, an Electronics Lab, a 3D Print Lab, and a Lego Lab. The facility will be used as a Regional STEM Education Pilot program, where educational programs are developed and shared throughout the region. We are incredibly grateful for the support from Consumers Energy Foundation; their commitment is a powerful endorsement of our efforts to augment the critical technology talent pipeline.”
