Ling Elementary as students and staff united to celebrate the importance of mathematics. The schools successfully concluded the month-long Math Month with a series of engaging activities, culminating in the crowning of Mrs. Hingston's class as the Mathbowl champions.

Mrs. Hingston's class demonstrated exceptional mathematical prowess, securing their victory in the highly-anticipated Mathbowl competition. The dedication and hard work of both students and teacher have truly set a shining example for the entire school community.

In addition to the Mathbowl success, grade level Mathball competitions took place, fostering friendly competition and collaborative learning. Students eagerly participated in these spirited events, showcasing their mathematical skills and teamwork. The level of enthusiasm displayed by the students was truly inspiring, and it is evident that a passion for mathematics is thriving at both Hemlock and K.C. Ling Elementary.

To cap off the month-long celebration, the schools were delighted to host magician Ryan Christopher for a magical finale. The captivating performance left students and staff in awe, adding an enchanting touch to the already exciting Math Month activities. Ryan Christopher's ability to intertwine magic with mathematical concepts created an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.

As building principals, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and, most importantly, the enthusiastic students who made January Math Month a resounding success. We believe that fostering a love for mathematics at an early age is crucial, and the events of this month have undoubtedly contributed to the overall academic and personal growth of our students.

We look forward to building on this success in the coming months and continuing to inspire a passion for learning in all our students.
