Mrs. Hammond’s 2nd grade students have been studying animals. The students have created digital pictures books using Google Slide. With support from Mrs. Kato (district technology coach) students are using screencastify to make audio books. Screencastify is an extension that allows for students to record using their Chromebooks. Technology has allowed for this lesson to have more creativity and critical thinking involved.

All of our students and staff took a moment today to thank Mr. Clark, Ms. Morris, Mr. Walton, and Mr. Yell for serving in the military and keeping us safe. Mrs. Mulvaney asked everyone to seek out a Veteran, and to thank them for their service, and welcome them home. Remember the 11th hour of the 11th day, of the 11th month, Veterans Day. Young 5 took part to "Love our Veterans!"
Hemlock Public School District is hosting, Meet the Candidates on Thursday, November 1st at 7 PM in the Board Room located at 200 Wilson Street. There are four board members running unopposed (Ellison, Rivette, House, and Messing) and two write-in candidates (Vollmer and Hoeppner) running for a single seat (two-year partial term).
