NEW INFORMATION -  

NO SCHOOL-  NOVEMBER 21-25   ***Happy Thanksgiving***

Student Council Officers- please meet in Mrs. Curtiss’ room during 6th hour today to discuss the RACE TO THE TOP entries.  Be sure to check in with your 6th hour teacher for attendance before coming to room 15.

    

SPORTS/CLUBS-

8th Grade Girls Basketball-Last night girls 8th grade "Nine Incredibles"  took on the St. Louis Sharks. The girls triumphed with a victory of 49-5. Everyone contributed for the win. Chloe Watson pulled down 7 rebounds,  7 steals, 7 assists, and added 8 points. Regan Finkbeiner raked in 6 steals, 3 assists, and put up 16 points. Breanna Turner grabbed 3 steals and added 6 points. Izzy Loucks and Alyssa Dearman played tough defense underneath, each with 4 points. Ella Wardlow helped the team with 2 points and jumped for 6 rebounds. Morgan Walle had 1 assist, and Charlie Munger helped her team reach 49 points with determination and  hustle down the court. A well deserved win for our Huskies due to their team work and dedication. Great Job girls! The girls take on St. Charles tomorrow at home. Game time for 7th grade 4:30 and for the "Nine Incredibles" begins at 5:30... Please come and make some noise against the Bulldogs! GO HUSKIES!!!

7th Grade Girls Basketball-The 7th grade girls traveled to St Louis Monday night and dropped another close game falling 40-34. The game saw several lead changes but fatigue finally set in with 2 minutes to go as St Louis constantly subbed with 18 players while we only dressed 8.

Mya Wunsch kept the lady huskies close - scoring 10 of her team high 15 points in the 4th quarter. Logann Clayton also had a great offensive game dropping 13 points for the night.

Corinna Gomez and Nataly Bodziachowski each tossed in 2 points while Madi Penny and Jaedyn Mallek rounded out the scoring with a free throw each.

The Huskies are now 1-2 on the season with a home game Tuesday against St. Charles.

7th & 8th Grade Robotics- you will NOT meet this week.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Saturday Morning Basketball League- the Hemlock Sports Boosters an the Hemlock Girls’ Basketball Program are once again offering a Saturday morning league for boys and girls in grades 3-6.  The early registration deadline is November 26th with the first session taking place on Saturday, January 5th. Box Tops- Please clip any box tops from home and drop them off in the office.

Archery Classes- Thomas Township is offering a beginner’s archery class. Registration deadline is December 14th.   Flyers are in the office.

Rainy mornings-on days when you are allowed inside due to weather, 5th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 6th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 7th graders seated on north side tables in cafeteria, 8th graders in lobby. Remain there until 7:45 when bell rings.

Breakfast and lunch rules-everyone is expected to finish their meal in the cafeteria and dispose of all trash before leaving the cafeteria. Respect our building by keeping it litter free inside and out.

Ala carte Specials- starting today  you will be able to purchase Sparkling Ice flavors for $1.25 (thursday only), and on Friday cookies one for $.75 or two for $1.00.  You must have money on your account or cash.
