Hemlock, MI- Hemlock Public School District is readying to launch a Hall of Fame. The Hall Fame which will be open to accepting applications in early 2022 will feature three categories of recipients, Distinguished Alumni, Athletic honors, and Significant Contributor. The Hall of Fame will accept applicants in all three categories but only induct one member per year and will rotate between the three categories.
Board President Matt Wesner said “We have so many fantastic people that have contributed to our district in so many ways over the years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without everyone of those people. This is a way for us to honor and recognize some of those individuals across a multitude of areas.”
The district has a rich history of honoring individual accomplishments and contributions over the years, but this will add another opportunity. It is amazing to see how many alumni of Hemlock High School have gone on to accomplish big things along with those given of their time, energy, and efforts to make the school a better place for students.
“This is a great way for us to be able to express our admiration and gratitude to members of our school community,” said Superintendent Dr. Don Killingbeck.
