May 18th--Last day to check out a book from the library.
May 25th--ALL books are due back!
May 30th--Library will be closed (doors locked) for end of the year inventory.
8th Grade Career Day- Welcome to our guests that are here today for the 8th grade career day. Thank you, for taking time out of your day to share information about your careers.
Lost and Found- We have a table set up with lost and found items. Please take a minute to see if there is anything that belongs to you.
Attention Middle School Band Parents!
Middle School Spring Concert!
Who: All Middle School Band members (Grades 5 - 8)
When: Wednesday, May 16 at 7pm - Kids should report at 6:30
Where: HHS Gym
What to Wear: 5th/6th Grade - Please wear nice dress clothes. No jeans or tennis shoes please. 7th/8th Grade - Please wear your band polo with khaki pants/shorts with nice shoes.
Students should bring their instruments/music with them to the high school that day. They will need to remember to take their stuff with them after school.
Peer to Peer- is having a “Hat Day” fundraiser today for Autism Awareness. Your first hour teacher will collect your dollar. Please have exact change. Hats must be school appropriate.
SPORTS/CLUBS-
High School Cross Country- 8th grade boys or girls interested in running Cross Country in the fall there is a sign-up sheet in the office.
Hemlock Jr. Equestrian Team- will be competing in District 6 finals Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13th at Midland County Fairgrounds. If you see Reagan Keyser, Helena Meriettia, Charli Munger, Avery Robishaw and Alli Trudell wish them luck!! Good Luck Girls!!!
Hemlock Fall Soccer- Pre-K-8th grade (ages 4-13) On-line registration May1st-August 3rd www.hemlockyouthsports.com Walk-in registration Saturday May 12th 10a.m.-12p.m. @Hemlock HS, Thursday July 31st 6:00-8:00p.m. Flyers are in the office.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dress Code- with it getting warmer outside make sure you’re following the dress code. If you’re not sure of the dress code, it is explained in the student handbook which can be accessed on the Hemlock School website.
Hemlock Youth Football Registration for the Fall will be held on Sunday, May 20th from 5-8 pm at the Ling Elementary Cafeteria. The youth football program is for students going into grades 4-8 next year. Please pick up a flyer from the office if you are interested.
Box Tops- Please clip any box tops from home and drop them off in the office.
