Ault gets a Key

Hemlock Public School District recently gave Andy Ault from Hemlock Semiconductor a key to the Lockwood STEM Center.

Superintendent Killingbeck said, “The support from Andy Ault and his HSC team has been invaluable, it would be difficult to imagine this project getting done without his extraordinary efforts pushing us over the top.”

The Lockwood STEM Center is new construction that sits on the North West corner of the high school. The building is nearly 6,000 square feet of space dedicated to inspiring students and learning in areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The facility boasts a certified FIRST Robotics competition field, an observation deck, team pits for all area (adjacent schools) teams, a machine shop, a design area, a storage facility, a patio cafe, and more.

Technology Director Tom Lockwood noted, “Andy Ault and HSC have championed STEM education and future learning for our students in our community and the surrounding area.”
