Vote to Expand Attendance, outdoor events

The Tri-Valley Conference votes to expand attendance at outdoor home events. In light of new guidance from the MHSAA, the Tri-Valley Conference executive committee met virtually on Friday, October 2nd, to discuss and make a plan moving forward with potential spectators at events.

The conference selected to stick with our current protocols for indoor sports while allowing additional people to attend outdoor events. Adding those students that would normally be at events like the band, pompon, and others to the list of participants and increasing spectators for the home team by 2 per participant (player, band, pompon, etc.) up to the allowed MHSAA guidelines.

What does this mean? Well, for our home football game, it means that we will roughly have our maximum amount of spectators per MHSAA guidelines. There are no ticket sales at the gate; all purchases must be made in advance. For more information about tickets, contact the high school office at 989.642.5287. For away games, everything remains the same.

Those attending events must follow the 3 W's: (1)Wash your hands, (2) Wear a mask (3) Watch your distance.
