Huskie Pair Team Up As Needs Arise!

Hemlock, MI – As needs arise the Hemlock Huskie Pack delivers.  Hemlock High School Sophomore Ben Lockwood and K.C. Ling Elementary third-grade student J.J. Raths have collaborated 3D print Visor Bands for health care workers at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI.  Their first shipment of almost 100 visor bands is on its way today with more to follow later this week.

J.J. is using his personal Enders 3 to crank out the headbands. Ben Lockwood is using 3D printers supplied by Hemlock's Gray Matter Robotics Team.

The duo teamed up due to their robotics teams’ season being canceled.  The two figured out another way to win and help out the demands of personal protective supplies needed so desperately.

Superintendent Killingbeck shared, “It is great to see our students working to help front line workers in this time of need.”
