The Hemlock Board of Education met for their regular monthly meeting on Monday, January 13, 2020.
The Board of Education elected the following officers for the 2020 calendar year.
- President Ellison
- Vice President Wesener
- Secretary Ling
- Treasurer Rivette
The board also made committee assignments for the year as well.
Hemlock Public School District recognized all members of the Board of Education for their time and services. The school district joined the State of Michigan in honoring board members as January is Board of Education appreciation month.
The Board heard reports from administrators and about emerging topics.
The Board took the following actions:
- approve, board member salary, $422 annually
- approve, Washington DC Trip 2020-21
- approve, vote yes, sinking fund resolution.
- approve, MSP, EOP
The board's next meeting will be on Monday, February 10th at the Hemlock Middle School.
