Hemlock Business Association strives to make a difference in the Community.  The Association met for an August 20th meeting at Farmers Home Tavern.  The group discussed Breakfast with Santa, obtaining 501(c) 6 status, welcome baskets for new residents, attending the Farmers Market during Saw Dust Days, and another after hours to be held at Swan Haven Manor, however the primary discussion of the group was regarding their Annual Fall Harvest Dinner at Maple Grille and community awards.  The Annual Fall Harvest Dinner and Silent Auction will be taking place on September 9, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with proceeds being raised going back into the community for events like the Hemlock Breakfast with Santa, which will be a free event to families in our area. Community members may get tickets in advance by reaching out to any of the executive officers.  Those being honored for community awards are as follows: 

  • Beautification – Samantha Turner

  • Citizen/Volunteer of the Year – Carol Jurek

  • Educator of the Year – Matt Bauer

  • Member of the Year – Annamarie Reno

  • Organization of the Year – Isabella Bank
