NEW INFORMATION -

Library News- May 30th- Library is closed.

****There are several students that have overdue library books checked out that need to be returned*****

NJHS MEMBERS: remember, beautification Day and our end of the year picnic is today Thursday, May 30th until 4:30 pm here at the middle school.  Attendance is mandatory. Bring clothes to work outside in the dirt!

                 

Change Battle-Money raised will go to support “Dallis to the Rescue” this is a non-profit animal shelter.  Similar to the penny drive we had but with this fundraiser all coins will be positive, with bills being counted as a negative.          

Hemlock Huskie Youth Football- dropped off an informational flyer for students interested in playing youth football. This is for students in 3rd-8th grades.

SPORTS/CLUBS-

MS Track- uniforms should be turned in this Friday during lunch.

2019-20 Robotics- there will be a meeting Tuesday, June 4th @ 6:30 p.m. in the Hemlock Middle School Media Center for any students that will be 7th or 8th graders next year and are interested in being on the Hemlock Middle School FTC Robotics team. Parents and interested students are encouraged to attend.

8th Grade Boys- interested in playing baseball next year Coach Sensabaugh will be here Friday during lunch to have a short meeting.

Disc Golf- will meet for two sessions, (today) Thursday 5/30 from 3-4:30, and the following Monday 6/3 from 3-4.  These will be the only sessions for the Spring.

GENERAL INFORMATION  

Thomas Township Parks & Recreation- we have several flyers in the office for summer activities. Soccer Camp, Pool Schedule and Summer Camp.

Camp Invention- this is a summer camp for children entering grades K-6. The camp will be held at Ling Elementary, July 15-19 from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We have flyers in the office.

S.K.I.L.L.S. Basketball Camp-will again be hosting two camps in Hemlock during the summer months (one at St. Peter and one at the H.S.)  The camp is available to both boys and girls between the ages of 7-15. Camp runs from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday. Flyers are in the office.  

Box Tops- Please clip any box tops from home and drop them off in the office.

Mornings-on days when it's 32 degrees or below, or snowing,  you are allowed inside due to weather, 5th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 6th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 7th graders seated on north side tables in cafeteria, 8th graders in lobby. Remain there until 7:45 when bell rings.

Breakfast and lunch rules-everyone is expected to finish their meal in the cafeteria and dispose of all trash before leaving the cafeteria. Respect our building by keeping it litter free inside and out.

Ala carte Specials- starting today  you will be able to purchase Sparkling Ice flavors for $1.25 (thursday only), and on Friday cookies one for $.75 or two for $1.00.  You must have money on your account or cash.
