Hemlock Elementary Hosts Zoo Exhibit Day

Hemlock Elementary recently hosted their first Zoo Exhibit Day.  Kindergarten students created animal habitat projects and displayed them for family and friends to come to see.

Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Klopf shared, “Zoo Exhibit Day was such a big success.  It was so amazing to watch each student take pride in their hard work, while also teaching others what they learned during the research process of their projects.  We are already looking forward to next year!”

This was such a well-attended event the kindergarten teachers are planning on making this a yearly event.  The students got very creative and were so proud to show their projects.

Principal Gensch said, “It was so exciting to see the students’ love of learning shine through as they shared their zoo exhibits.  They were bursting with pride, and their hard work was evident.  It is amazing what kindergartners are capable of doing when we make learning fun!”
