NEW INFORMATION -    

6th grade students- MStep testing today requires earbuds for every student please make sure you bring earbuds with you to the cafeteria this morning.

               

Lost & Found- please stop by the table set up in the hall across from the library and look for any items that might belong to you.

Camp Invention- this is a summer camp for children entering grades K-6. The camp will be held at Ling Elementary, July 15-19 from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We have flyers in the office.

Washington D.C Fundraiser- will be selling snow cones at lunch tomorrow

SPORTS/CLUBS-

2019-2020 MS Girls Pom-  if you are currently in 5th-7th grade and interested in being a part of the 2019-20 Pom Team there is a sign up sheet in the office along with an informational sheet of important dates and times.

GENERAL INFORMATION  

MS SPRING CONCERT-  Hemlock Band Program cordially invites you to our annual Middle School Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 15th beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Hemlock High School gymnasium.  Students should report at 6:30 in the required concert dress. 7th and 8th Grade Bands should wear their band polo, khaki pants, and nice dress shoes. The 5th and 6th grade should dress in nice dress clothes.

S.K.I.L.L.S. Basketball Camp-will again be hosting two camps in Hemlock during the summer months (one at St. Peter and one at the H.S.)  The camp is available to both boys and girls between the ages of 7-15. Camp runs from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday. Flyers are in the office.  

  

HSC Annual Community Calendar Art Contest- has started and will end on May 10th.  Only 1 entry per student is allowed.  This years theme is “How Electronics Connect & Help the World”. The top 4 submissions from our school will be submitted to Hemlock Semi-Conductor for final judging. For more information pick up a flyer from the office.

Box Tops- Please clip any box tops from home and drop them off in the office.

Mornings-on days when it's 32 degrees or below, or snowing,  you are allowed inside due to weather, 5th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 6th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 7th graders seated on north side tables in cafeteria, 8th graders in lobby. Remain there until 7:45 when bell rings.

Breakfast and lunch rules-everyone is expected to finish their meal in the cafeteria and dispose of all trash before leaving the cafeteria. Respect our building by keeping it litter free inside and out.

Ala carte Specials- starting today  you will be able to purchase Sparkling Ice flavors for $1.25 (thursday only), and on Friday cookies one for $.75 or two for $1.00.  You must have money on your account or cash.
