Hemlock Public School District Board of Education regularly honors individuals or groups for outstanding work and /or contributions to student success. This past month was no different.

The Board of Education held their December meeting and elected to honor Food Service Director Christine Tomasek, Transportation Director Carolyn Donoghue, Summer Recreation/Community Education Director Karen Kienitz, and Board Trustee David King.

These four individuals were nominated and recognized due to their extra efforts to make Hemlock Public School District a great place for children to learn and grow. Everyone at Hemlock Public School District appreciates the personal contributions and efforts that these individuals have made to help further our district’s mission and vision and service to our students and families. Those who attended graciously accepted the honor in the presence of support staff, teachers, administrators, students, and community members who were in attendance at the board meeting.

Superintendent Killingbeck said, “This is one way we try to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our employees. I would encourage everyone to nominate someone who goes above and beyond for recognition.”

Forms can be located on the district website or by visiting the central office located at 200 Wilson Street.
