SPORTS/CLUBS-

Spelling Bee- Your next  practice is tomorrow, Wednesday, 5th from 2:45-3:30.  The Spelling Bee is Thursday, Dec. 6th.

7th &8th Grade Robotics- you will meet TODAY, December 4th from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. and Thursday, December 6th from 3 p.m.-7 p.m..

5th-8th grade MS Club Softball- sign-up sheet is in the office.

8th grade girls basketball-  "The  9 Incredibles," defeated the Ithaca Yellow Jackets 45-19. Again, as throughout the season the win couldn't happen without the element of teamwork. Every girl hustled, fought for the ball, and cheered their teammates on with a positive attitude. What else could you ask from such a dedicated team: A love for the sport and such respect for each other.

Regan Finkbeiner led the Huskies with  14 points. She also added 3 steals and 5 rebounds. Breanna Turner put up 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal. Chloe Watson helped her team with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and a whopping 5 steals. Averi Hall drained 6 points as well as rebounds and a steal. Ella Wardlow led the Huskies in rebounds with a total of 10: She added 2 points and 3 steals. Alyssa Dearman crashed the boards for 6 rebounds. Charli Munger, Izzy Loucks, and Morgan Walle helped their team with several assists, tough picks, strong offense and defense, and tons of hustle. Outstanding job girls! The 8th grade girls reign with a record of 6-0.

7th grade GBB team-  battled their hearts out again Monday night only to fall in a nail biter 22-19 to visiting Ithaca. We went into the 4th quarter with a 1 point lead but could not get over the hump.

Mya Wunsch led the Huskies with 8 points, Jaedyn Mallek scored 4 with Emma Streich adding 3. Sophia Hauffe and Corrina Gomez each scored a 2 pointer to finish the Huskies scoring.

The Huskies will be at home Wednesday to face St. Louis.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Box Tops- Please clip any box tops from home and drop them off in the office.

Archery Classes- Thomas Township is offering a beginner’s archery class. Registration deadline is December 14th.   Flyers are in the office.

Mornings-on days when it's 32 degrees or below, or snowing,  you are allowed inside due to weather, 5th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 6th graders sitting at their lockers in their hallway, 7th graders seated on north side tables in cafeteria, 8th graders in lobby. Remain there until 7:45 when bell rings.

Breakfast and lunch rules-everyone is expected to finish their meal in the cafeteria and dispose of all trash before leaving the cafeteria. Respect our building by keeping it litter free inside and out.

Ala carte Specials- starting today  you will be able to purchase Sparkling Ice flavors for $1.25 (thursday only), and on Friday cookies one for $.75 or two for $1.00.  You must have money on your account or cash.
