¡Bailadores de Hemlock!

Hemlock High School Spanish 2, 3 and 4 students recently competed at Saginaw Valley State University in the annual Foreign Language Day competition. Students competed in categories such as dance, song, skit, poster and international awareness testing.

"Foreign Language Day is a wonderful opportunity for students from all over mid-Michigan to come together to showcase their language skills and cultural knowledge," said Spanish Teacher Karen Willour.

"I had a blast on our trip to SVSU! Being able to socialize and observe other schools with the same passion for foreign language as Hemlock was very satisfying. It provided a unique opportunity to compete and practice our Spanish in a unique way that cannot be duplicated in a classroom setting," stated Seth Byrne, Spanish 3 student.
